Sazbean

Sarah Worsham (Sazbean) graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S.E in Computer Engineering and a Software Engineering concentration. She has one MBA in e-business and is working on a second in Marketing & Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.  Sarah was the Internet and Online Business Development Manager for a B2B publishing company for five years. She was responsible for over 120 websites and all technologies associated with their web presence: hosting, hardware, software, design, programming, analytics, advertising, rich media, customer needs, project management, website optimization, etc. Her team consisted of designers, programmers, content developers, flash programmers, and a few managers. She also educated the salespeople on how to sell online products, wrote marketing material for customer-facing websites, and oversaw production of new online products and services.

Sarah worked on large e-commerce websites right out of college (Eddie Bauer, 1-800-flowers, Western Governors University) and gained some valuable experience in coding, design and project management. She used this experience to start her own web design company 10 years ago, Dynalink, LLC (parent company of Sazbean Consulting), which is co-owned by her husband, Aaron.

Sarah is passionate about helping businesses (B2B & B2C) use the web effectively. Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) companies face unique challenges in the online world. Sarah’s experience in Internet analysis & strategy, website design, coding, project management, eCommerce, analytics (statistics), advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), website optimization, hosting, content, graphics and infrastructure gives her the expertise to help companies meet these unique challenges and reach their business goals.

Aaron Worsham was the Software Development Manager at a Mid to Large print publisher where his team wrote all of the products and applications used online. Now he is Lead Developer for an incubator company, working with Ruby on Rails in an enterprise setting.  Before software, he spent ten years as a Cisco Network Engineer in the telecomm and banking industry. When not working, you can find him being a very good father and a slightly less terrific woodworker and furniture maker at a wood shop he owns with his father.
