Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn in are great, but there may be a social network targeted for your specific niche or industry.  While many people try to reach the largest audience better, your message and conversations are actually more efficient in a more targeted environment.

If you haven’t seen Microsoft Surface in action, you’re really missing out.  It has to be one of the coolest technologies not borrowed by the Redmond giant. Better yet, the language to program on it is relatively open, which means that independent developers can create things for it (instead of relying on MS to come up with something lame).  If Apps like this D&D one were released publicly, I’d seriously consider purchasing one.
