Spy on Your Competitors to Create a Social Media Strategy

It’s no surprise that spying on competitors is part of any marketing (or business) strategy.  You need to know what your competitors are doing so that you can counter it or take advantage of it.  Spying is very easy on social media because pretty much everything that happens is public (unless your competitors have their own closed social network, which does happen, especially in business-to-business — b2b). Figuring out what your competitors are doing and how can help you make your own social media strategy more effective.

Social Media Examiner has more on how to create your social media strategy by spying on your competitors:

This can give you inspiration for designing your own profiles. — How to Create a Social Media Strategy By Spying Your Competitors by Kristi Hines

Business + Technical Product Management

My sweet spot is at the intersection between technology and business. I love to manage and develop products, market them, and deep dive into technical issues when needed. Leveraging strategic and creative thinking to problem solving is when I thrive. I have developed and marketed products for a variety of industries and companies, including manufacturing, eCommerce, retail, software, publishing, media, law, accounting, medical, construction, & marketing.
