The Power of Thank You
Hopefully you’re aware of the awesome people in your network that really dig what you do and share it with people in their own networks. Have you stopped to send them a personal thank you lately? I occasionally share links from Practical eCommerce, where I also used to guest post fairly frequently. Several times they’ve not only noticed that I’ve shared their posts, but also that sharing their posts on StumbleUpon has sent them quite a bit of traffic. Sure, they put out some great posts, and they’ve shared some of my stuff too, but sending me a direct message on Twitter as a personal thanks made me smile. Just recognizing and saying thank you to people in your network goes a long way to building strong relationships that can only help you out in the long run.
