It’s true! Just take a look at this screen capture from Google Analytics:

While it may be true that I increased traffic by 90,300%, according to Google Analytics, I also just moved my site back into it, so I had zero traffic from last month. Hence the large increase.
You can say just about anything you want with statistics. Obviously this has good and bad connotations. Yes, you can make statistics say something that may increase your sales, at least intitally. But what happens when you’re not in control of those statistics? What happens when someone else has the data and they do their own evaluation? What happens when someone relies on a recommendation instead of a number?
Make sure your actions are what count. If you are reputable, professional and provide true expertise, it will show up in your service to your customers. Actions speak louder than numbers.
