Content is King – So What's Your Content Strategy?

kingmark_cogginsYou’ve heard it before – content is king.  Well without regularly updated useful content your business website will stagnate.  It’s the end of the year and a good time to reflect on how you’re using your website and the Internet to further your business goals.  Take a few minutes to think about how you can use content to help your customers and further your goals.  The good news is that content strategy can be cheap (in dollars) to implement and can provide excellent returns on investment (helping you reach your goals).  Here are some questions to consider in your content strategy:

  • What goals are you trying to reach with your content?
  • How will you measure your progress towards those goals?
  • What content should you provide?
  • How often will you post new content?
  • What types of content will you post (text, audio, video, images)?
  • How will you use your content and get your message out to your customers?
  • How will you connect with your customers and have rewarding, useful conversations?

In the next few posts I’ll give you an example of a content strategy that can work for any business and how to measure progress towards your business goals.

yes, content is king. Without updated content your website will not gain traffics or hits. The purpose of the online website is to having more visitors and customers and increase website rank in SERP’s. We depend only the Search Engines where our site has been placed. We can’t say that they have permanent technology that only link building is important. They have the right to replaced or changed the algorithm.

    Example:
    1. What if the Search Engines devalue the links page that above a minimum of 20 links.

    2. What if the Search Engines algorithms okay for the rich content at least updated content twice a week.

    3. What if they removed the site from SERP’s which is not updated content (doesn’t have updated 2-3 months).

    Tips:
Content is very important of your blog or website which visitors wants to read the latest about the technology, or anything niche. Website target is the visitors or viewers in order to gain traffic and increase profit of your sales.

Jeramel, Thanks for reading and for your well-thought-out comment. I think it’s important to keep in mind that content is ultimately created for customers and visitors, not for search engines. While people may find your site via the search engines, they’re certainly not going to stay if they can’t find what they’re looking for – or if they don’t find it valuable.

Also, keep in mind that many times when people visit your site from a search engine, it’s just a one time visit. Often more loyal readers are formed through networking of some type – either offline or online.

Balancing SEO with customer-centric design is very important – I’d suggest always thinking of your customers/readers first but use good SEO principles.
