Twitter Measurement Tools

Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's) Dendroica coronata bird in Morro Bay, CAIt’s important to measure your social media efforts so you can find out what’s working and how they’re helping you reach your business goal. If Twitter is part of your social media strategy, then there are a number of tools which can give you some Twitter statistics and measurement. Take a look to see if any of these can help you measure success in your social media strategy:

Tool Desc Measurement Category Review
Twitter Search Returns tweets which include a keyword Influence
Klout Assigns a Klout score based on Twitter influence Influence Review
Twitalyzer Dashboard of Twitter metrics with tips & trends Attention, Influence Review
TwitterCounter Trending stats on number of followers Attention Review
Ow.ly Measurement of views and clicks on link Attention, Conversion
Bit.ly Measurement of views and clicks on link Attention, Conversion

What tools do you use for Twitter Measurement? I intend on updating this list as I come across more tools that are useful. Please submit any that you use so I can add them. Thanks!

Business + Technical Product Management

My sweet spot is at the intersection between technology and business. I love to manage and develop products, market them, and deep dive into technical issues when needed. Leveraging strategic and creative thinking to problem solving is when I thrive. I have developed and marketed products for a variety of industries and companies, including manufacturing, eCommerce, retail, software, publishing, media, law, accounting, medical, construction, & marketing.
